Smart people are the most suitable people to solve any problems. Unfortunately, intelligence has never been a requirement to become a political candidate. Geniocracy is the framework of a system of government that advocates a certain minimum standard of intelligence for political candidates and the electorate.

Furthermore: no more special treatment or perks (financial or others). All politicians will be personally accountable for everything they say or do. Like with the rest of the population, there will be no special immunity to protect them.

Creation of an universal minimum wage salary (same salary for Women and Men). This will be the very same salary that will be given to all elected politicians. The population would also benefits from better health care, education, transport, food quality and quantity, utilities and all basic necessities (goods and services) at a lower cost.

Complete restructuring of the current financial and economic system. New Crypto Commodity Currency (100% digital), major new sources of foreign currency and elimination of the public debt within 10 years.

Sri Lanka must become self-sufficient in energy to avoid being at the mercy of fluctuations, in the foreign market, for oil and other energy sources. Apart from solar and wind energy, which are neither reliable nor constant, there are other renewable energy sources, readily available in Sri Lanka, which could supply all energy needs permanently, on site, at a much lower cost.
