UFO Tourism
When all the classic solutions fail to solve a problem, the only way out is to think outside the box... and the solution can be out of this world! It doesn't matter whether the people of Sri Lanka believe in UFOs or not, what matters is that almost half of the world's population is interested or at least curious about the UFO phenomenon and extraterrestrial life.
As of April 2019, the tourism industry in Sri Lanka has been at an all-time low. Nothing the government does seems to significantly change that. A creative shift in what Sri Lanka could offer its tourist visitors is badly needed. UFO Tourism's unique approach to Sri Lanka would definitely be something that would create media waves all over the planet!
Competition is fierce within the international tourism industry. Beaches, spas, nature and wildlife expeditions or cultural immersion are common activities in many countries around the world. It is becoming more and more difficult to attract tourists without new and exclusive attractions. This is exactly what UFO Tourism is and how it could help the tourism industry in Sri Lanka!
There is no place on earth dedicated to providing a straight answer on the UFO phenomenon and intelligent extraterrestrial lifeforms. Sri Lanka could become the world leader in this field. There are already investors ready to build a UFO theme park with an official embassy to welcome extraterrestrial visitors.
Properly marketed and designed, UFO Tourism could potentially bring the equivalent of up to $8 billion USD, in foreign currency, to the Sri Lankan economy every year. This attraction alone could reimburse the national debt in less than a decade, without Sri Lanka needing to invest a single rupee!

Who are they? What do they want?
The UFO Tourism will be:
Sustainable : Our presence must not degrade the environment faster than it can heal itself and the money spent by tourists must remain in the host country. This is also valid for hotels, tourist attractions, restaurants or any industry owned by foreigners.
Responsible : be aware of all implications of our actions and expenditures (e.g. elephant touring creates mistreatment of trained elephants for tourism)
Leaving a positive footprint : everything in the country (finances, ecology, pollution, fauna and flora...) must be in the same state, if not better, once the tourists have left than before their arrival...
The UFO tourism park would be the most innovative world attraction and it will be in Sri Lanka! As more and more people are aware about the UFO phenomenon, it is now estimated that almost half of the world's population is curious and wants to know more about extraterrestrial life and UFOs.
Having the United Nations publicly acknowledge that Sri Lanka is home to the only embassy for extraterrestrial life on earth (... and there can only be one in the world), would create unprecedented global publicity that could attract tourists from around the world. Again, this is a potential additional income of $8 billion USD for Sri Lanka, of which no public funds would be required for the development of the project.
